NNF 2014/150 DP World Australia landside performance report






The following DP World Weekly Report is provided for member's information.

Below is a national snapshot of DP World Australia's landside performance for the last week at our terminals around the country.

Friday October 17 - Thursday October 23

Glossary: SRO - Stack Run Out, SRI - Stack Run In TTT - Truck Turn Time

Truck Turn Time is the daily average of all truck turn times and is measured from the time a vehicle passes through the gate inwards until the time the vehicle passes through the gate outwards. The total time the vehicle spends in the terminal is measured. Truck turn time does not include any time spent waiting outside the terminal gate. Container Turn Time is the daily average of all container turn times.

DP World Brisbane snapshot

Friday - Busy road program, no major delays. TTT 38 mins. CTT 18 mins.
Saturday - Good volume, mostly stack runs by larger carriers. No major delays. TTT 34 mins. CTT 15 mins

Sunday - Good volume for a Sunday. No major delays. TTT 32 mins. CTT 15 mins.

Monday - Extremely busy road program, exacerbated by ECN4 server reboot required on dayshift which caused extended delays. Recovered well on evening shift and no further delays for the day. TTT 46 mins. CTT 23 mins

Tuesday - Moderately busy road program, no major delays. TTT 35 mins. CTT 18 mins.

Wednesday - Busy road program, no major delays. TTT 34 mins. CTT 16 mins.

Thursday - Extremely busy road program. Some delays on evening shift due to high volume of stack runs. TTT 39 mins. CTT 21 mins.

DP World Sydney snapshot

Friday - Road operations very busy and all zones fully booked. Additional slots place in the pool. Zones opened early where possible. TTT 30 mins. CTT 23 mins.

Saturday - fully booked until 19:00 zone. Assisted with additional slots for export vessels. All zones opened early. TTT 26 mins. CTT 19 mins.

Sunday - Road operations busy, all zones booked from day shift onwards. All zones opened early. TTT 30 mins. CTT 22 mins.

Monday - Road operations busy and fully booked across all zones, Assisted with exports slots on day shift. TTT 25 mins. CTT 21 mins.

Tuesday - Road operations busy, all zones fully booked for all shifts. Covered additional slots for Transhipment containers to SCIT. TTT 25 mins. CTT 19 mins.

Wednesday - Road operations very busy and slots fully booked across all zones. Covered additional slots were possible. TTT 25 mins. CTT 20 mins.

Thursday - Road operations busy and all zones fully booked. TTT was very good and with additional slots placed slots in the pool for both Day and Evening shifts. Zones opened early from 08:00. TTT 24 mins. CTT 20 mins.

DP World Melbourne snapshot

Friday - Heavy road operations throughout dayshift that eased into twilight and nightshift on zone. TTT 35 mins. CTT 12 mins.

Saturday - Road operations ahead of schedule with slots available at both Terminals. Advertised accordingly. TTT 37 mins. CTT 13 mins.

Sunday - Road operations ahead of schedule with slots available at both Terminals. Advertised accordingly TTT 33 mins. CTT 12 mins.

Monday - Road operations on schedule across all shifts. Additional slots released however limited take up. TTT 37 mins. CTT 14 mins.

Tuesday - Road operations ahead of schedule across dayshift and on zone throughout the night. Plenty of slots available. TTT48 mins. CTT 19 mins.
Wednesday - Road operations commenced on zone. Heavier throughout twilight shift and then easing again on nightshift. TTT 55 mins. CTT19 mins.

Thursday - Road operations commenced on zone and slowed again as volume increased due to high export take up. TTT 55 mins. CTT 20 mins.

DP World Fremantle snapshot

Friday - Import pick-up slots fully utilised from 0600, 0700, 1000 & 1300 to 1600 time-zones, but have good availability in time-zones from 1700 onwards. Export drop-off slots fully utilised in 0800 and 1000 to 1600 time-zones, but have good availability in time-zones from 1700 onwards. TTT 33 mins. CTT 19 mins.

Saturday - NIL R&D

Sunday - Nil R&D.

Monday - Import pick-up slots mostly utilised in 0600 upto 1800 time-zones, but have substantial availability from 1800 onwards. Export drop-off slots mostly utilised in 0600 upto 1600 time-zones, but have substantial availability from 1700 time-zone onwards. TTT 23 mins. CTT 12 mins.

Tuesday - Import pick-up slots fully utilised in 0800, 1100, 1400 to 1600 time-zones, but have good availability in all other time-zones, especially from 1700 onwards. Export drop-off slots fully utilised from 0800 & 1100 time-zones, but have good availability in all other time-zones, especially from 1700 time-zone onwards. TTT 20 mins. CTT 12 mins.

Wednesday - Import pick-up slots available in all time-zones, with a high availability from 1500 time-zone onwards. Export drop-off slots fully utilised in 1100 & 1400 time-zones, but have excellent availability from 1700 time-zone onwards. TTT 19 mins. CTT 13 mins.

Thursday - Import pick-up slots available in all time-zones, except 1600 time-zone. Pool slots have high availability from 1700 time-zone onwards. Export drop-off slots in all time-zones except the 1400 & 1900 time-zones, with good availability throughout the day. 21 mins. 13 mins.
